Weight Loss Supplements in addition to my exercise/diet routine?
I have been going consistently to the gym for about 8 months now.
Past 1 and a half months I have been taking it more seriously.
Right when I wake up I do 40 min on eliptical.
Before dinner time I go do 45 min of weights and then 25 min on eliptical. I do this 5-6 days a week.
I weight 313 pounds (was 340 lbs 7 months ago).
Male
22 years old
72 inches tall
body fat is 33%
Yes I am on a diet; no fast food, fried food, wings, ribs, burgers, pizza, etc. And I take in ~200 grams of protein a day and eating under my daily value of carbs.
I am trying to build/tone and lose weight simulatenously.
I keep each muscle group workout 3 days off of each other
I want to know if there are any relatively SAFE weight loss supplements that could aid in the fat loss process.
I realize that losing weight 1-2 lbs a week is healthy but I need a little boost, some motivation. I am NOT looking for a long term supplement, just something to help for a couple weeks or so. I really want to get under 300 asap
try Lipo-6, it gave me good results when I had a plateau
your workouts are perfect. you could add a fat burner like lipo6 ,hydroxycut, ripped fuel,,ect. they are safe and work well. it will give you a nice boost. also try a testoserone booster. when your really overweight your hormone levels are affected. testoserone is the best fat burner.

It’s not worth it to take a supplement. Most of them speed up your heart rate and can increase your chances of a heart attack by a lot. To lose the extra pounds, you might want to switch it up. After about thirty days you can reach a plateau on weight loss–you are doing the same excercises that worked before but your body has become used to them and no longer gets the same benefits. To counteract this, you should take on a different set of excercises or up the amount of weight that you are lifting. Switch it up to "confuse" your muscles so that they have to work hard all the time. As an after thought, maybe take up swimming? It burns a lot of calories and is at the same time doesn’t stress your joints as much. Furthermore, regarding your diet. Cutting out junk food and sweets is great, so good job. You don’t need to cut out carbs, just keep them in proportion with your other foods. Eating a lot of fresh foods and unprocessed foods is the best way to go.
Good luck, you are doing the right thing, just DO NOT take supplements. They look good, but are in fact dangerous.

The best way to lose weight is doing exercise.
The best type of exercise for weight loss is something you ENJOY DOING and are likely to continue doing – not just while losing weight but also as you maintain weight in the long term.
Your initial fitness goal should be to do 30 minutes of exercise each day. Thereafter, gradually increase this (ideally) to about 60 minutes of exercise per day.
The best combination of exercise is a mixture of aerobic and weight/strength training (and stretching). Aerobic and weight/strength training exercises both assist weight loss but in different ways.
