There are diet pills out there that are effective, but they are prescription. I took adipex along with changing my diet- this was a physician supervised weight loss program and I lost 33 pounds in less than 3 months. This drug did not cause my heart to pound and I felt very energetic. I got to where I even had pills left over as I was supposed to take them 3x a day. They are effective but changing eating habits are the most important. The pills helped me to be able to cut down portion sizes while allowing my stomach to shrink. Some doctors won’t prescribe diet pills, while others will. You may have to look into some physicians where you live to see if any will.
